Sadr\u017ei inhibitore oksidacije i korozije, ima odli\u010dna svojstva ta\u010dke klju\u010danja, a tako\u0111e spre\u010dava stvaranje pare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trenje tokom procesa ko\u010denja\nstvara toplotu; ne\u0161to od toga apsorbuje ko\u010diona te\u010dnost koja bi trebalo da\nispunjava zahteve definisane va\u017ee\u0107im standardima:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Suva ta\u010dka klju\u010danja te\u010dnosti za ko\u010dnice bez vodenog sadr\u017eaja [\u00b0C]<\/li><li>Vla\u017ena ta\u010dka klju\u010danja te\u010dnosti za ko\u010dnice sa vodenim sadr\u017eajem [\u00b0C]<\/li><li> pH vrednost te\u010dnosti za ko\u010dnice   <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Parametri su definisani standardima FMVSS br. 116, SAE J1703, ISO 4925 i PN-EN ISO 2719: 2016-08. Oni predstavljaju neke od osnovnih kriterijuma za odre\u0111ivanje podobnosti za upotrebu. Parametri za DOT 4 Plus te\u010dnost za ko\u010dnice sumirani su prema standardima SAE J1703 i ISO 4925 (suva i vla\u017ena ta\u010dka klju\u010danja, viskoznost), kao i FMVSS br. 116 (pH vrednost). Posledica je iznenadna redukcija ko\u010dione efikasnosti \u0161to mo\u017ee\ndovesti do nesre\u0107e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Higroskopno svojstvo te\u010dnosti\nza ko\u010dnice je neophodno kako bi bilo koja prisutna voda mogla ravnomerno da se\ndistribuira kroz te\u010dnost. Ako se voda skuplja u odre\u0111enom podru\u010dju, ta\u010dka\nklju\u010danja \u0107e pasti&nbsp; na oko 100\u00b0C. Ipak, ako\nse voda, na primer, rastopi u proporciji od 3%, ta\u010dka klju\u010danja osta\u0107e iznad 100\u00b0C\ngde je rizik od stvaranja mehuri\u0107a gasa zna\u010dajno smanjen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nekoliko faktora uti\u010de i ubrzava apsorpciju vode: skladi\u0161tenje te\u010dnosti za ko\u010dnice unutar otvorenih, nezape\u010da\u0107enih pakovanja na du\u017ee vreme, nepridr\u017eavanje intervala servisiranja te\u010dnosti za ko\u010dnice, o\u0161te\u0107eni elementi ko\u010dionog sistema ili o\u0161te\u0107ene zaptivke.  Higroskopna svojstva te\u010dnosti za ko\u010dnice proizilaze iz sadr\u017eaja glikola. Ovo omogu\u0107ava te\u010dnosti da postepeno upija sve vi\u0161e i vi\u0161e vode \u0161to tako\u0111e zna\u010di da je potrebno redovno je menjati. Proizvo\u0111a\u010di automobila uglavnom savetuju da se te\u010dnost za ko\u010dnice menja na svakih 30,000 do 50,000 kilometara ili na svake 2 godine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Viskoznost i druga svojstva<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Viskoznost te\u010dnosti za ko\u010dnice\ndefini\u0161e njen unutra\u0161nji otpor slobodnom protoku na odre\u0111enoj temperaturi. Pod\nuticajem temperature u rasponu od -40 do 100\u00b0C, viskoznost te\u010dnosti za ko\u010dnice\ntreba biti \u0161to ni\u017ea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Niska viskoznost te\u010dnosti za\nko\u010dnice omogu\u0107ava brze promene pritiska u linijama ko\u010dionog sistema. Ovo je\npodlo\u017eno situacijama u vo\u017enji.
