La v\u00e1lvula EGR controla la cantidad exacta de gases de escape que se devuelven al colector de admisi\u00f3n. All\u00ed, los gases de escape desplazan parte del ox\u00edgeno, con lo que se reduce la temperatura de combusti\u00f3n. Esto evita la formaci\u00f3n de algunos \u00f3xidos de nitr\u00f3geno. Esto es especialmente importante para los motores diesel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hay dos tipos principales de v\u00e1lvulas EGR. El resultado es una posici\u00f3n m\u00e1s precisa de la v\u00e1lvula, que se transmite a la unidad de control del motor a trav\u00e9s de un potenci\u00f3metro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los motores di\u00e9sel utilizan sus sistemas EGR en toda su gama de revoluciones, que puede ser de hasta el 60% del consumo total al ralent\u00ed. Este sistema tambi\u00e9n ayuda a elevar la temperatura de los cilindros durante el calentamiento inicial, lo que reduce considerablemente el ruido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Consecuencias de un defecto<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En los veh\u00edculos di\u00e9sel, las v\u00e1lvulas tienen secciones transversales de gran apertura debido a las altas tasas de recirculaci\u00f3n. Esto puede reducir la concentraci\u00f3n de \u00f3xido de nitr\u00f3geno hasta en un 50% y la formaci\u00f3n de part\u00edculas de holl\u00edn en aproximadamente un 10%. En los motores de gasolina, las secciones transversales de las v\u00e1lvulas EGR son significativamente menores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Debido al uso constante y a las duras condiciones de funcionamiento, los m\u00f3dulos EGR se utilizan ampliamente.
