La sincronizaci\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica del cig\u00fce\u00f1al y el \u00e1rbol de levas es de suma importancia para el funcionamiento de un motor de combusti\u00f3n. Con la introducci\u00f3n de la gesti\u00f3n b\u00e1sica del motor y el encendido transistorizado, el n\u00famero de piezas m\u00f3viles se ha reducido para permitir mediciones m\u00e1s precisas. El desarrollo de la electr\u00f3nica de estado s\u00f3lido ha mejorado, lo que tambi\u00e9n implica el uso de sensores del cig\u00fce\u00f1al y del \u00e1rbol de levas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estos sensores miden la velocidad y la posici\u00f3n del \u00e1rbol de levas y del cig\u00fce\u00f1al. Su se\u00f1al es procesada por la ECU para optimizar la precisi\u00f3n del control del encendido y del combustible. Hay dos tipos de sensores: Sensores de efecto Hall y sensores inductivos. Su funci\u00f3n es fundamentalmente similar, aunque la construcci\u00f3n puede variar seg\u00fan el tipo de sensor y su uso previsto por el fabricante del veh\u00edculo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sensores inductivos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante el funcionamiento, el sensor inductivo genera una tensi\u00f3n oscilante dentro de la bobina del sensor debido al efecto inductivo. Cuando la rueda de disparo ferromagn\u00e9tica (con dientes) pasa lo suficientemente cerca del n\u00facleo de hierro del sensor, el campo magn\u00e9tico que rodea la bobina cambia. Se genera una tensi\u00f3n en la bobina que es proporcional a la fuerza y a la velocidad de cambio del campo magn\u00e9tico. Por cada diente que pasa por el sensor, se genera una vibraci\u00f3n completa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La se\u00f1al de tensi\u00f3n alterna generada por el sensor depende de la velocidad de la rueda de disparo y del n\u00famero de vueltas de la bobina. Al arrancar el motor, cabe esperar un voltaje de salida que oscila entre 1 y 2 voltios, pero al aumentar las revoluciones del motor, esta tensi\u00f3n ser\u00e1 mayor. La se\u00f1al de voltaje de salida generada es de baja energ\u00eda y, por lo tanto, puede verse f\u00e1cilmente afectada por se\u00f1ales externas m\u00e1s fuertes, por ejemplo, el sistema de encendido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sensores de efecto Hall<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El sensor Hall tiene un circuito integrado situado entre el rotor y un im\u00e1n permanente que genera un campo magn\u00e9tico vertical al sensor Hall. Cuando la rueda de disparo pasa por el elemento vivo del sensor, la corriente cambia el campo magn\u00e9tico perpendicular al elemento Hall. Esto produce una se\u00f1al de tensi\u00f3n que es independiente de la velocidad relativa entre el sensor y la rueda de disparo. La electr\u00f3nica integrada en el sensor de efecto Hall procesa la se\u00f1al y la env\u00eda como una se\u00f1al de onda cuadrada amplificada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El uso de\nestos sensores ha evolucionado con las crecientes exigencias del motor de\ncombusti\u00f3n en t\u00e9rminos de rendimiento y emisiones. Calculan el tiempo y la\nduraci\u00f3n de la inyecci\u00f3n, ajustan el \u00e1rbol de levas de encendido y detectan los\nfallos de encendido.
