Las aletas o mariposas (palomillas) se instalan en el colector de admisi\u00f3n cerca de su conexi\u00f3n con la culata. Las posiciones de las aletas se controlan mediante un actuador en funci\u00f3n del r\u00e9gimen del motor y la carga. En la actualidad los podemos encontrar hechos de aluminio o de materiales pl\u00e1sticos.<\/p>\n<p>Las aletas est\u00e1n cerradas al ralent\u00ed y se abren gradualmente a medida que aumenta la velocidad del motor, hasta alcanzar la posici\u00f3n totalmente abierta (paralela a la direcci\u00f3n del flujo de aire). Esto introduce turbulencias en la carga de admisi\u00f3n, creando una buena mezcla de aire\/combustible a velocidades bajas y medias del motor, lo que a su vez ayuda a reducir las emisiones del veh\u00edculo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Existen dos tipos diferentes de m\u00e9todos de control<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Controlado neum\u00e1ticamente &#8211; <\/strong>Colector de admisi\u00f3n con aletas controladas neum\u00e1ticamente, utilizado en veh\u00edculos con motor de gasolina de inyecci\u00f3n directa. Para cambiar entre los modos de generaci\u00f3n de la mezcla estratificada y homog\u00e9nea.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Controlado electr\u00f3nicamente &#8211; <\/strong>Colector de admisi\u00f3n provisto de aletas de variaci\u00f3n continua, controladas por un motor de ajuste que se utiliza predominantemente en motores Diesel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dependiendo de la causa de la aver\u00eda, febi ofrece la posibilidad de reparar y sustituir los componentes individuales; carcasa y\/o actuador o puede ser necesario sustituir todo el colector completo.<\/p>\n<p>El colector de admisi\u00f3n es una pieza fundamental de los coches de combusti\u00f3n, por lo que mantenerlo en buen estado y que su dise\u00f1o sea perfecto es primordial para poder garantizar que el motor del veh\u00edculo funcione de una manera constante y correcta, que no disminuya la potencia y que no aumente su consumo de combustible.
